Hey there!

My name is Tanawat. I am a marketer and an advertiser, living in Bangkok. Poor writing almost got me fired, but here I am making a blog lol.

 

Throughout my entire career, I have helped more than 30 brands sell using different marketing communication tactics, from newspaper ads — yes it’s been more than 10 years — to social media, with the likes of Uniqlo, Toyota, Johnnie Walker, IKEA, L’OREAL, and Apple. 

 

I’ve also worked for Uber, where I learnt how to code, launch new products, and deal with police officers (oh no). And I am an interim General Manager of a digital agency, supervising business strategy, HR, and finance.

 

I’ve now come to terms with me being a “duck”, which is a Thai analogy for a generalist. Because a duck can both swim and fly, but it excels in neither skill. (Must applaud Thai wisdom for such an amazing observation.)

 

Why do I create this blog? I want to use my free time to reflect and share some thoughts on my “ducking” experience and random stories along the way. Thanks for reading this far and I hope you enjoy my content! Quack!
